Expanding Choice in Female Contraception
I designed and facilitated the synthesis and storytelling for a multi-year global health initiative across Kenya, Nigeria and Senegal to identify desired attributes in contraception available to women. Working alongside local design studios and global funders, we conducted mixed-methods co-creation workshops with over 1,000 participants across 53 locations. I translated complex qualitative data into strategic decision frameworks, value propositions, and concept evaluation tools—turning community knowledge into actionable directions for product developers.

Indigenizing Design
I facilitated the peer research and collaborative synthesis process for Indigenizing Design, a place-based framework and inclusive design language funded by the National Endowment for the Arts. Working alongside Indigenous partners (Brian Skeet Design LLC, Indigenous Community Collaborative, and CahokiaPHX), I helped translate community insights into six Indigenizing Design Markers, an ecosystem mapping tool, a facilitation toolkit, and a curriculum to teach and apply Indigenizing principles in practice.

Participatory Innovation Labs
A scalable, multi-year research model across Kenya, Nigeria, and Senegal that keeps lived experience central to health innovation. Supported by local design and tech partners, we established continuous, multilingual panels with 114 women—using focus groups, in-depth interviews, co-creation exercises, and Whatsapp diary studies—to test hypotheses around reproductive health options. I guided 4 in-country teams through mixed-methods synthesis and translated insights into multi-format deliverables, including newsletters, microsites, postcards, podcasts, a media library, and an AI-queryable data platform for global funders to move from signal to action faster.

Redesigning Early Childhood Education
A multi-year systems initiative addressing systemic breakdowns in public early-learning infrastructure across a major metropolitan city in the United States. Grounded in deep research with parents, educators, and municipal administrators through in-depth interviews and focus groups, we mapped current-state experiences to locate structural leverage points. Using design futures methodologies, I helped define a vision for a transformed service ecosystem and translated it into new roles, services, and product concepts alongside value propositions to unlock long-term equity for families and providers.
